An example of something you are sure to want to check out is the Suffragette exhibition. This is taking place from the 1st to the 31st and is free; you don’t even need to book. In Louth Library, you can learn about the women who where key figures in the Representation of the People Act. This is the movement that allowed women to obtain the right to vote over 100 years ago. In addition there will be a special look at the women from the area.
Also, the OUTFALLS: Art and Poetry Exhibition starts on the 14th up until the 27th October. On Wednesday to Sunday, 11am-4pm at the Navigation Warehouse there will be various pieces of culture on offer. You can listen to and take part in discussions on how people view the life of the Louth Canal. Full of poetry and art, you will love what you experience.
